Making beret's is fun! They're quick and simple to construct, can be made out of a multitude of waste fabrics and you can get creative decorating them. This one originates from a slightly bobbled jumper from which I've cut the best bits to use, incorporating the lower band as you can see. The grey needed a bit of a colour pop (in my opinion) so I've stitched on odd vintage buttons in muted tones to add a bit of interest.
