Lightweight and long sleeved this dress is made from Dicel, a popular acetate fabric of its time, easy to launder and quite crease resistant. It's also meant the at the colours in this design are still as vibrant as they ever were. 
The sleeves have a wide flounce at the cuff and the dress fastens at the back with its original zipper in good working order. The neck edge has small gathering detail and the bodice is nicely tailored into the waist. There is a narrow tie belt that ties at the back and the front of the skirt has a pleat and falls to the ankle in a gentle A-line.
It's a lovely example of seventies style from a well known dress designer of the era.
